KATE'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FOR GEORGE
Being an HRH and third in line to the throne, it might be supposed that Prince George’s third birthday party will be a lavish, no expense spared kind of do. A full-size funfair in the grounds of Anmer Hall, for instance, with jelly and ice-cream supplied by a Michelin-starred restaurant. But, happily, that’s not how the third in line to the throne will celebrate turning three. An immensely privileged toddler he may be, but his mother Kate grew up enjoying the kind of children’s birthday celebrations many of us are familiar with an afternoon party at home with games, balloons, cake, pals and party bags.
