What is it? The Glute Drive – or Glute Bridge machine – is one of the more unusual and intimidating pieces of equipment in the gym but, if used correctly, it will work wonders for your running form and performance. When a machine is referred to as ‘plate-loaded’, all that means is you manually load weight plates onto the machine to achieve the desired load. This differs to ‘pin-loaded’ machines which use a stack of pre-determined weights where you move a pin for load selection.
