Running is the exercise I’ve stuck at the longest and I won’t stop now. I also do kettlebell classes – which I love – and yoga. But running is the only thing that has consistently provided good mental and physical health over a period of a few years.
I started running regularly after I had kids. I had run when I was younger; in fact, I had gone from never running to training for and running a half marathon in a short space of time. But then I stopped again. I guess life got very busy due to having a demanding job, getting married and having kids in a few short years.
