GOING TO MARKET
Patrick Forsyth
For most writers there is an ego aspect to what we do. It is ego-boosting to see your name on an article, a book or a (good) review – be honest. Nothing wrong with that, but it raises an interesting point, something that came up when I attended the Christmas do of the Society of Woman Writers and Journalists. (I love good networking events.) Someone was talking about having a patch when they had to turn work away; just too much to do.
