With a nod to Christmas, Elf Day in December is a fun and colourful way for the Alzheimer’s Society to raise funds and awareness. Dementia is a topic that touches most of us, either because we know or care for someone who has it, or simply because it will affect so many of us in our lives that we may worry when we can’t remember a word or forget what we went upstairs for.
Writing on a single theme across different genres enables us to engage on every level, body, mind, heart and soul, to arrive at a deeper awareness, provide material we might work up into a finished piece and also develop our writing style.
