1. When and where did your journey as an author begin?
I decided I wanted to be an author when I was seven years old. Throughout my life I’d always written short stories and poems, but it wasn’t until twenty years later – soon after I voluntarily separated from my job as an editor at a publishing company – that I sat down at my kitchen table, followed through on that childhood dream, and wrote The Gravity Between Us.
