I like a laugh. Always have done. From my father’s recordings of The Goon Show, to Tom andJerry, Monty Python, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Jeeves and Wooster, I love a laugh. One of my earliest memories is being on stage in a church hall, age seven, as a moustachioed caddy while my father told golf jokes. People were laughing. They obviously found me hilarious – no idea what my father was going on about.
