Got a problem? DR RANJ SINGH and WAYNE DHESI are here to offer their advice…
I have a great group of friends who I love and respect but recently a couple of them have said some pretty transphobic things and I don’t know what I should do.
I consider myself an ally to all minority groups, especially being gay and black myself, but I find it really awkward challenging my friends on their language about trans people, especially as I don’t think they really mean any harm. Should I just let it go or should I say something?

WAYNE: It’s never easy to confront our friends about things that annoy, bother or offend us, especially when they might not be aware of the harm they’re doing. However, it’s important to challenge offensive language and behaviour when we hear or witness it, even more so when it’s within our social circles.
