Attitude  |  August 2014
At long last, this month we are proud to have Olympic hero and gay heartthrob Tom Daley on the cover of Attitude. This is his first ever gay magazine interview, with a classic shoot to accompany. It also happens to be our second annual Hot 100 issue, and you can see how well Tom fared on the list in your special supplement. Added hotness comes as we introduce Dan Osborne as our new fitness expert, plus we have exclusive iPad interviews with Greg Rutherford, Chris Mears, Harry Judd Louis Smith, Mark Wright, Ben Hardy, Charlie King, Duncan James and Chris Salvatore.
Elsewhere we have interviews with the stars of Orange Is The New Black and a feature on the plight of real gay people in prison. There’s also a look at the culture of slamming in the gay community, and how to lead the fight against it. We have the first magazine feature and review on the amazing upcoming British movie Pride - about the gay rights group who supported the miners during the 1984 strike - and an investigation into whether we’re ready for a gay royal.
We also have a shoot with the Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson, a chat with leading writer Caitlin Moran, a look at gay TV history with Jonathan Harvey, and a roundup of the best bits of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival – including comedian Jeff Leach, and Erasure legend Andy Bell. All that plus the usual columns, style, travel and fun!
