CZECH MATE
The July 2023 issue of FlyPast features a phenomenal new Spitfire Mk.IX restoration on the cover. In an exclusive interview and air-to-air photoshoot, we tell the story of TE517, a well-travelled fighter recovered from an Israeli kibbutz in the 1970s, prior to being returned to the air at Biggin Hill. Darren Harbar captures this iconic machine flying from Duxford.

SHUTTLEWORTH HIND
Work has been progressing steadily on the Old Warden-based Hawker Hind. We look back at the project and bring you the latest.

RAF REVIEW
As a new monarch is crowned in 2023, we step back 70 years to savour the memory of a flypast staged in 1953 for Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation.

Digital subscription for Flypast magazine

I have purchased the Flypast magazine for many years and generally as a hard copy. However, for the last couple of years l have subscribed annually to the digital version and now read on my iPad.
The magazine is great and I always find the content interesting and varied and never bored with the topics covered. Whilst previously enjoying the hard copy l am now a devoted digital subscriber and would recommend this version. On the downside you miss out on add ons such as calendars etc.
