Plans to increase the number of fish farm pens on Loch Etive from 10 to 12 were due to be recommended for approval this week.
The application by Dawnfresh for its site at Airds Point was to be discussed at yesterday’s meeting of Argyll and Bute Council’s Planning, Protective Services and Licensing Committee.
Officers were recommending permission be granted subject to conditions. More than 330 objections were received.
