A team of archaeologists excavating an abandoned Mull village could have discovered a living link in one of its volunteers.
In 2004, Kevin Luscombe, a member of the Northwest Mull Archaeology Interest Group, told Dr Bill Patterson and his wife Suzanne about a forgotten settlement in a clearing nearby at Kildavie, numbering 14 ruined structures.
