CRIANLARICH
Following four burst pipes in four months at Crianlarich, MSP Bruce Crawford wrote to Scottish Water to ask what action would be taken to bring about a permanent solution. Scottish Water has since responded, notifying Mr Crawford that investigation works are to be carried out with a view to improving the system.
It said: ‘We appreciate the inconvenience of these bursts and are committed to undertaking improvements to the water network to reduce the chance of interruption to our customers’ supplies. I can confirm these improvements are a priority and a solution is currently being developed through our engineering design process.
