FOREVER GT6
Bought in 1972, laid up since 1990, Brian Cox learned to weld so he could restore his GT6 to better-than-new perfection. Every restoration project is different but the story of Brian’s Triumph is truly unusual. He bought his GT6 MkIII as a new car on May 4, 1972 and has been the sole guardian of this little coupé ever since. ‘It was wonderful having a new GT6 as a young man all those years ago,’ says Brian. Naturally it was his everyday transport and for their holidays, Brian and his wife Bridget enjoyed touring Europe in their Triumph, with a particularly memorable trip taking in the south of France and northern Italy before returning via Switzerland.
