Teddy Bear Times Magazine Issue 264 Back Issue

I hope this issue finds you well. Those strange Covid-filled days of 2020 are behind us (although it is still around) but one thing I think many of us took on board during that time was the need to get outside if possible and walk. For one teddy bear artist and collector, Caroline Leppan, she found it took her in new directions with her bears…along country lanes and into woodland, in fact. You can read all about her travels with tiny teds on page 38. And now that traveling around the country we live in, or to other countries, is getting back to normal, there is scope for many more teddy bear adventures. Do you take a teddy on vacation with you? If so, we have some tips to keep them safe.
Other questions we ask in this issue is whether or not you like to dress your bears and what you might name the next one or two that you make or acquire. Do you like to have a themed collection, or are you in favor of something more random?
Rebekah Kaufmann has a wonderful collection of old Steiff Bears and she will be sharing some of them with us but for this issue, the focus is on koalas.
Always keen to showcase teddy bear friends as well as the bruins themselves, we have an amazing pattern for you to make an alpaca.
Designed by Marianne Schmalen-Willems, it is sure to be a conversation piece. Whatever your preference in bears and their furry friends, I hope you enjoy discovering those our artists share in this issue.
