Adrien Renaudin in command from the start had an easy time for the 21 laps of the Final. Even compatriot Pierre Loubere, second at the finish line, did little to make life complicated. Covering his back was compatriot Hubert Petit, visibly slower than his adversaries, masterfully held behind the Italian trio: Piccini, Longhi and Pollini. In Lonato the return match to see, among other things, who the winner of the Italian-French derby will be.
PETIT-PICCINI, GRUELLING
On the right, Petit, Piccini and Longhi during the KZ2 final. In the end, the Tuscan of Tony Kart failed to pass the Frenchman, an unnerving battle throughout the race without success, while in front Renaudin and Loubere pull a gap with ease. Petit made no errors that might have favored Piccini’s passing, and went on to conquer a deserved podium place.
