There are truly many new manufacturers who have launched themselves into the new 60 Mini class that the Cik-Fia has “unified” starting this year with new uniform rules for all the countries that fall under its jurisdiction - although obviously others will also be referring to them. In fact, we would like to remind you that as many as 31 companies, among those that manufacture frames, have presented and had their proposal for this category approved, as well as 4 “motorists”, engine builders. The last few months have been quite demanding for these manufacturers: they have had to complete the various practices to obtain the homologations (from the application to the final production check) and above all to produce the minimum number of specimens required by the International Sports Authority, i.e. 75 frames (of which 25 complete) or 50 engines. Immediately afterwards they have had to send them quickly as possible to the various customers who had requested them, also in view of the first tests on the track, such as the official “collective” tests already held this January in Adria in preparation for the WSK series. As a consequence of all this, many manufacturers have not had the opportunity to properly photograph their products during this hectic period, or at least they have understandably pushed this effort aside, compared to the production and commercial priorities, obviously much more pressing. This is why many models have not yet been officially presented. However here at Vroom we shall continue to report the news for this category, as images and data are made available. Let us thus continue to show other new frames after those already published in the last issue of Vroom, that is, in the first part of this report on the new 60 Mini class.
