Q uick recap for the people who can’t keep up with the relentless new car churn of 2025: the Mini Aceman is an electric-only baby crossover – basically a taller version of the Cooper hatchback. And the E tested here is the base version, with a tiddly 38.5kWh (usable) battery. Mini pitches the Aceman as Goldilocks-esque in its ability to blend a compact footprint with family-friendly space. This base spec apparently adds sensible, usable range for an affordable price. Although it’s worth bearing in mind that Goldilocks is really a story of perception: she did, after all, break into a house and steal some food.
