SOLUTIONS FOR LOST HOURS
Finding purpose in those missing moments
For time frustration: do a time audit
If you’re frustrated by your missing minutes, try a week-long time audit. Although it might seem the pinnacle of pedantry, working out what you do with your time will be eye-opening. You can find templates online, or you can create one yourself. Divide your day up into 15-minute blocks and write what you do in those 15 minutes. If you create a digital spreadsheet, print it out and write entries by hand; there’s something satisfying about filling in those little blocks. When you’ve completed a week, take a look at what you do and when you do it. And remember: no judgment.
