Roger de Ville brings a rare Liverpool delftware puzzle jug, c.1750, to The Buxton Decorative Antiques & Art Fair priced at £2200. He is among the regular exhibitors at the event, where he has stood for around 20 years.
The fair’s three most recent years have been disrupted as works continued at its venue, The Buxton Pavilion Gardens’ Octagonal Hall. In 2016-17 the event was held at an adjacent marquee. Last year, as works overran, organiser Cooper Events was forced to call it off.
However, it returns to the hall for its 54th staging this month, running from May 16-19.
