COWAL
THE Cowal Way long distance path has been handed a ‘Scotland’s Great Trail’ award.
A 57-mile-long tourism path runs between Portavadie on Loch Fyne and Inveruglas beside Loch Lomond and provides a scenic link between the Kin-tyre Way and West Highland Way. The award follows a programme of investment in the route, largely funded by the Coastal Communities Fund.
