Supported by a wealth of colour and black and white photographs, it tells the story of the buses themselves and how they have been organised and operated. How London Transport replaced many of its trams with trolleybuses between 1935 and 1940, then replaced the remaining trams and all the trolleybuses with diesel buses in the postwar years.
