CREDIT WHERE IT’S DUE
In your Cover Feature on mini PCs (Issue 732) you mentioned the option of buying a cheap ‘barebones’ machine then adding components yourself. I took this route through Minisforum last year (buying the UM790 Pro), but when I tried to add some memory modules to it the machine wouldn’t recognise them. I raised this with Minisforum and they gave me some advice on fixing the problem, which worked well.
