Now read it again, except don’t read it – sing it. Sing it in the following voice: Your girlfriend, Heather, is hung up on her ex, Nikki, with whom you had a one-night stand when you met at a poetry slam three years ago. Heather doesn’t know you slept with Nikki. Or does she? There’s something in her eyes. A look that says, “I am a waning moon in a starless sky”.
