Rytmos takes place across various solar systems, each comprising several cuboid planets. On each of a planet’s six sides is a simple maze: your goal is to draw a path from the start point, passing through nodes that emit musical sounds, before returning to the start to form a loop. Trapdoors that open and close and tubes that roll back and forth give you something to think about, but in each case the solution comes fairly quickly, not least since there’s usually more than one route back to the start, and you needn’t pass through every emitter. With each loop adding to the soundtrack, sometimes it pays to revisit an earlier loop and adjust the route.
