Following Friday’s final concert, the Fèis Lochabair committee warned there is a risk there will be no festival next year if no new volunteers come forward. The dedication of the current committee for more than a decade has been unwavering but there is concern about the lack of new people getting involved.
The Fèis is a huge part of keeping the Gaelic language and traditional music alive. Poeple are being encouraged to attend Fèis Lochabair’s annual general meeting, the date of which is to be confirmed.
