We are at an incredible moment in the practice of yoga. With more people practicing than ever before there are ample opportunities to study, practice and teach yoga. At the same time, we are learning of the long-term effects of yoga practice on many bodies.
For many practitioners, the long-term effects have positive and negative aspects. We get stronger, more flexible, and more aware of our own bodies. At the same time, we can also get injured and have to reexamine why and how we practice yoga.
