Parchment Craft  |  August 2010
Inside this month’s magazine you’ll find an abundance of cards and projects by your favourite designers including Christine Coleman, Mary G. Kerr, Kannikar Sukseree plus many more.
Christine’s first piece of work is a card design depicting a sail boat which is set out at sea; it’s been traced with white pencil and black ink before being dorsed and embossed (Page 10). Her second is a heart shaped piece of parchment which has been beautifully worked before being mounted onto coloured card which can then be used for any occasion (Page 44).
Mary has submitted an amazing 3D project for your dining table; an embossed and perforated pair of napkin holders along with contrasting place cards (Page 25) whilst Kannikar has produced a gorgeous wall decoration, depicting a bunch of pencil coloured roses worked on black vellum (Page 32).
Not to forget Josie Davidson who is our resident expert behind the Information Desk at which you can seek advice or contribute tips of your own. Her workshop this month is a guide on how to make feathers from parchment.
