YORKSHIRE LOGS: August 19 saw the first movement of timber from the West Coast Railway Company sidings at Hellifield on the Settle & Carlisle line to the Kronospan wood panelling plant at Chirk. Colas Rail Freight Class 56 No. 56090 is seen at the head of the initial train. This and a subsequent working on August 29 took place as trials for loading at the site. Operated with a combination of WCRC and Colas crews, future trains will run as required and are expected to be 10-wagon formations.
