The Searcher  |  May
What’s new in this issue?
Our cover EXCLUSIVE this month is an incredible Iron Age hoard discovered by a relative newcomer to the hobby. The condition of the artefacts is incredible and the site may well be investigated by archaeologists at a later date. Finder, Dan Carton, recounts the day he discovered the artefacts. We also have another EXCLUSIVE Iron Age hoard of items not quite identified this time found in Norfolk! Again beautifully preserved. Robert Turrell shares his success in finding the lost Saxons and forgotten Celts in his area and Paul Bancroft shares his finds to date in Equinox Adventures. Peter Spencer has written Part 1 of the Language of Coins which helps to identify coins. There’s of course much, much more in this issue!
