”Are you gonna play Toast?” yells one joker. A bearded Young looks deadpan into the audience…of course he is not going to revisit his Top 20 improvised novelty Streetband hit, but the heckler won’t let go until Paul knocks him back with a cheeky: “I’ll rub it in your face in a minute!” And so he does, metaphorically speaking at least, with a slick rendition of the gentle ballad, Everything Must Change. Thankfully, Young has more than enough hits in his armoury, he doesn’t need to resort to Toast.
