FAITHLESS
ALL BLESSED
JE
NATE’S STUNES/BMG
★★★☆
Having split in 2011, recent DJ appearances have led to Faithless’ first album in a decade, albeit without singer Maxi Jazz. Known mainly as a singles band, it’s easy to forget 2004’s No Roots reached No.1 and second album Sunday 8PM was Mercurynominated. All Blessed is too mellow to make similar accolades likely, and Jazz would have been better than anonymous singer Nathan Ball on otherwise pounding comeback single Synthesizer, yet there’s enough renewed vigour to remind everyone what we’ve missed out on.
