When trying to shake off the perception that your band is a little bland, calling your new album 10 Songs might not be your best bet. These days, though, Travis appear to revel in their refusal to pander to lowest common denominator marketing, so you can either be bothered or you can’t. Either way, they don’t seem fussed, trusting people - perhaps blindly, given current trends - to dig beneath the surface.
