Remixed and revised reissues of BBT’s hard to find third. A bit like the curate’s egg,Bardcould best be described as good in parts. Even founding member Greg Spawton was moved to remark: “I’m never going to pretend that it’s our best work”. He’s not wrong and you can see why the band might have resisted reissuing it for all these years, though there are glimmers of promise here, of the band Big Big Train might go on to be.
