Well-travelled guitar pair’s second delivers more classy hard rock with instrumental fizz.
When this pair’s debut Smith/ Kotzen was released in early 2021, the prospect of an Iron Maiden guitarist joining forces with a Winery Dog was intriguing to say the least, the matey jamming between Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen turning into a full-blown album of what turned out to be very classy hard rock indeed. It wasn’t a million miles from what Kotzen was already known for, but any Maiden fans hoping for a bit of galloping metallic bluster must have been more than a tad confused by it.
