What’s the best replacement for SyncToy?
Q I’ve been using SyncToy for a number of years to manually back up any changed files after use. As SyncToy is no longer supported I need a simplereplacement that I can easily set up for my active folders, so any changes made to the live folders are replicated in a set of backup folders on another drive.

It’s available for Windows, macOS and Linux and can be usedA The similarly named Syncthing (across all three to sync files between computers. It sets up a dedicated Sync folder on each machine, and they advertise their presence to each other across your local network. When you log into the locally hosted Syncthing web page on any machine, it can see the others and you can link them with a single click. In our screenshot below we’ve synced a Windows PC 1 with a Mac mini and Linux computer 2 .
