Use Teamup as your shared calendar
Run a club or society? Here's how your tech can make it easier
Running a local club means keeping your members – and yourself – on top of upcoming dates and events: meetings, venue bookings, deadlines and so on. You can do some of this via group chats or email threads. But even the most organised among us would be lost without some kind of calendar tool.
A shared Google Calendar might seem like the most obvious option, as it sends notifications to remind members of events. And any changes – such as rescheduled events – are all updated in real time, so everyone always knows what’s happening. The catch is that members need a Google account, and not all will have – or want – one.
