Glow 25.12
SYSTEM-INFORMATION TOOL
www.snipca.com/56402
What you need: Windows 10 or 11
Glow has been updated seven times since June, with a steady stream of new options and improvements to existing tools. It can now detect which version of Microsoft Office you have installed (on its Operating System tab) and the drivers for wireless headphones you’ve connected to your PC using a USB dongle (on its Drivers tab). Glow’s CPU Benchmark, Disk Benchmark and Cache Cleanup tools have been reprogrammed to make them more efficient, and the program has been optimised to launch faster in Windows 11. Best of all, when you run the ‘SFC and DISM Automation Tool’ from the Tools menu (see screenshot), Glow now performs the system-file checks and fixes within its own window, rather than Command Prompt. Glow still triggers a SmartScreen warning (its developer is discussing this issue with Microsoft), but just click ‘More info’ then ‘Run anyway’.
