Another bugbear concerns online file-conversion tools, which promise so much and deliver it so annoyingly. Whether it’s ad-stuffed websites, restrictions on the size and number of files you can upload, or convoluted conversion systems that require you to buy credits or enter your email address to obtain the converted file, these tools get my proverbial goat.
