Which calendar offers pop-up reminders?
Q I’ve been using Outlook for many years, but I now want to move away from Microsoft products. I often use its calendar, and I like how items appear in a pop-up reminder window. Is there another calendar that does the same thing?

A If you’re looking to replace Outlook entirely, we recommend the email client Thunderbird (www. thunderbird.net), which has a calendar and shows pop-up reminders. The calendar appears in the main window next to your email – simply click New Event to create your item, then be sure to set a reminder when filling in the event details to receive a pop-up reminder.
