From the developer of the excellent FastStone Image Viewer, this deceptively named tool offers an easy way to convert multiple images to another format in one go. Simply select the relevant files in the Batch Convert list on the left, by pressing Ctrl as you click them, then click Add – or Add All to convert all the images in a folder. Choose an output format and an output folder to save the converted files to, then click Convert (see screenshot). To also resize the images, click the Settings button and drag the Quality slider to the left (to shrink them) or right (to ‘upscale’ them). FastStone Photo Resizer can also batch-rename files, using your preferred naming format. This new version is the first update for nearly four years and adds full support for Windows 11.
