I remember when new phones came packaged in big boxes, containing a wall charger, a thick paper manual, a set of earphones and, if you were lucky, a protective case. These days, the boxes are only slightly larger than the phone inside and all you get is a measly USB cable.
Of course, I understand the rationale behind this downsizing. It’s more environmentally friendly, saves manufacturers money and encourages consumers to buy more accessories. But it also means I have lots of USB cables with no associated chargers, and no idea which will charge my Android phone the fastest. At least with iPhones, you know the white cable goes with the white plug.
