1. CUPPA, ANYONE?
Kitchens should be a riot of colour and personality – I’m not into the muted neutral and grey colour schemes that seem to be all the rage these days (does that mean I’m the one with bad taste? No – it’s everyone else). This kettle offers a kitsch pop of clashing blues, greens and oranges, with Bodum’s reputation for quality behind it.

2. WONKY CHOCOLATE
You’ve heard of wonky veg, and you may have heard of the food-rescue heroes at Wonky Coffee. Now they’ve turned their attention to fine Swiss chocolate – and you can get hold of ever-so-slightly cracked bars (or even surplus bars from overproduction) for a fraction of the retail price. They come in 1kg packs of (mostly organic) flavours, including milk chocolate with almonds, coffee and caramel, and dark with hazelnuts. The only issue will be stopping yourself scarfing the lot in record time.
£25.49 for 1kg, wonkycoffee.com
