You did all the work beforehand. You left good and early and scouted around the location Y to find the best spot you could and then waited. However, the clouds didn’t quite move the way you wanted, your lens wasn’t quite the right focal length and you wished you could be a little further to the left, but that spot wasn’t accessible.
