TRAVEL MASTERCLASS
Day 2: Explore architecture
Buildings and monuments capture the style and mood of the location

Look for the light If you are struggling to find unusual angles and compositions, try focusing on the way light interacts with surrounding buildings. This can define a location, such as the famous golden sunlight in Rome

Buildings are not only the structural units that comprise a city, they are the product of decades or even centuries of culture and history. The way a city’s buildings are designed says a lot about every aspect of the society in which they are found – climate, religion, history and cultural aesthetics. For this reason, we can use architectural imaging when travelling to tell a story about a place.
