Ultimately, the people of a place give it life and dynamism. A city street, swarming with market sellers and traffic, tells the viewer a lot about life in an overseas location and provides an identifiable element that anchors them in the familiar. From this, our audience can make comparisons to their own lives and fill in the blanks with their imagination – the sign of any good story. This is the case even in remote locations, the lack of human habitation is in itself a defining feature.
