Casting for Christmas
A teaser for this year’s Christmas Special – Joy to the World, written by former showrunner Steven Moffat – was also unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con.
Nicola Coughlan joins Ncuti Gatwa in the festive special playing Joy, who she describes as “a determined woman whose life is changed forever”. Nicola introduced the trailer to fans in the comic convention’s Hall H in a specially shot video.
