Wow! Season 1 has aired and Christmas seems an age away, so I think I could have been forgiven for thinking the summer months would be a quiet time at DWM Towers. How wrong I was. We’ve got Doctor Who at the Proms coming up, we had Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor debuting at Madame Tussauds, and we had spin off frenzy at San Diego.
The news of The War Between the Land and the Sea had me particularly excited because I’ve always believed that your favourite Who generally depends on the era you watched as a child. I generally resist answering the question ‘Who is your favourite Doctor?’ because I love them all, but I do have a particular fondness for Jon Pertwee and Katy Manning. The image of the Sea Devils emerging from the sea has stayed with me all my life.
