EXPERT TIP
USE THE DEPTH MASK IN THE SAME WAY The depth mask is the same – black areas will be transparent and white will reveal parts of the image. A depth mask depicts elements at the front as more white, and as they go backwards they get darker. Use this depth mask in the same way as a normal mask, but make blurred layers underneath your original and mask them away for shallow depth of field effects.

Ronald asked how he could get his images out of ZBrush with a transparent background and use them in print projects. There are a few things to consider if you want to do this, and they include the resolution of the image inside ZBrush, and an understanding of different render passes.
