Cake Decoration & Sugarcraft Magazine  |  April 2009
Easter has arrived and with it the warmer air making it a beautiful time of year to get married. How appropriate then that this month we have several wedding cakes for you along with a new 3 part series on wedding keepsakes. Weddings are also one of the many excuses to get your nails done and we also have an unusual 'Nice Nails' cake so you can fine tune your modelling skills.
Easter itself is celebrated with a special cake in a new mini-masterclass series featuring the growing art of airbrushing, or for a more simpler idea our popular Little Fingers pages make a rabbit in a chocolate Easter Egg car. We also welcome new contributor to Cake - Norma Kilburn who show show she made her award winning sugar shoes, so you can have a go too. For the flower makers we have lily of the valley, exotic lilies, bridal lilies, hydrangea, primroses, orchids (chocolate), frangipani, wild oats, violets, fern and foxglove to keep you busy.
I hope with all this variety readers at each end of the spectrum should find something for them, but if you are still searching I can certainly recommend the latest edition of our sister publication "Wedding Cakes and Sugar Flowers"as advertised on page 76. Well all that should keep you busy till next month, so have fun!
